Description
This course is designed for individuals seeking to become Owner Builders in NSW and is a mandatory requirement for obtaining an Owner Builder Permit from NSW Fair Trading.
An Owner Builder is a homeowner who obtains a permit and takes on the responsibilities including managing construction work on their own residential property. As an Owner Builder, you will be responsible for ordering building materials, hiring contractors, and overseeing the entire construction project.
Upon successful completion of our Owner Builder Course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment. With this certification and a White Card, you will be eligible to apply for an Owner Builder Permit from NSW Fair Trading.
If you do not yet have a White Card, our institution also offers an accredited White Card Course.

All students doing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy)
- This course combines plain English, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. language, literacy and numeracy that are essential to performance.
- LLN ((language, literacy and numeracy) skills will be assessed prior to entry to the course.
- If participants need assistance due to the language, literacy or numeracy skills, please contact us to discuss the training needs.
Assessment:
Assessment will confirm knowledge and skills have been achieved to demonstrate competency across the unit. Assessment will be in accordance with the Principles of Assessment and the Rules of Evidence.
Participant are offered multiple opportunities to demonstrate knowledge and skills throughout the course. If a student is not successful in completing all assessments satisfactorily, they will need to rebook the course at the full course fee.
